San Diego County is as big as some states - 4,255 square miles. And if you want to film in this vast area, you're wise to use the friend of the film makers -
The San Diego Film Commission. They want you to work here and they're prepared to make it easy and trouble free. Here are some incentives:
- No permit fees for filming.
- Free public properties with the City, County and Port.
- Discounted City of San Diego police services.
- Hotel Discount Program
Do you have any stories about shooting with or without the commissions help? There are some colorful ones, like the late night liquor store shoot in Coronado that dispatched the Swat Team. That was one
without the commission's help.
