In 1991, Michel Kripalani, at the age of 23, started his second company in a Mira Mesa four-bedroom rental house. He rode the video game wave and built Presto Studios into a successful company.

Oceanhouse Media has already developed 74 iPhone applications including "Grinchmas," based on the popular Dr. Seuss book, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" In December 2009, it was the eighth most popular paid app and the number one most popular kid's game. (More)

San Diego video production crews elbowing Oscar hopefuls

For the 12th year straight, San Diego video production crews from Solana Productions, Inc., were in prime position at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, as Oscar hopefuls Jeff Bridges, Morgan Freeman, Mariah Carey, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Renner, Quentin Tarantino and other Hollywood stars were spotlighted at the 2010 Awards Gala.
